'Seeking Quaker Treasures' - Winchester Quaker Meeting House

16 Colebrook Street, Winchester, Hampshire, SO23 9LH

Come and look around this historic Georgian house and its peaceful garden, learn about its history and use, and find out how we use it in our Quakerism. Cream Teas, refreshments and Children's Treasure Hunt also available.

Roam freely about this lovely example of an 18th century Georgian house, enjoy its symmetry and peaceful walled garden. There will be pamphlets explaining notable historic features in the building and our resident archaeological expert will also be available to answer questions.

You will be able to visit the top floor to see the wonderful view of Wolvesey Castle ruins, and the Bishops Palace and gardens. And there will be several displays around the house about Quaker Treasures, and a Treasure Hunt for children on this theme.

Creams teas, biscuits and drinks will be available at reasonable prices. You will be able to sit in our peaceful walled garden for your refreshments, or in our dining room.
