The Colour Factory, The Lodge, Gordon Road, Winchester, Hampshire SO23 7DD
The Colour Factory is a wonderful hub of creativity in the centre of Winchester, famous for the painted bollards in The Square. Now in our 25th year we are six resident artists, showcasing painting, jewellery and silversmithing. Patrons include Tv chefs Raymond Blanc and James Martin, and artists have featured on Sky Tv's 'Landscape Artist of the Year'. People come from far and wide to take part in our classes and courses held in our beautiful beach garden workshop, learning how to paint and draw, silversmithing or beading. We will be opening our doors for an exhibition of original artwork on the theme of 'Food and Drink' by the resident artists, alongside bespoke jewellery and silver. Come and have a go at painting a 'foodie' still life, the artists will be on hand to guide you through the process of creating a mini masterpiece of your own. All artists materials will be provided.
