The story of Ford Dagenham machinists who strove for equal pay and gender equality in 1968. The story follows Rita O’Grady who with help from her fellow machinists went to strike and brought about real change for women in the work place. The local theatre group will perform extracts from their successful May production of Made in Dagenham, the ultimate story of what people power can do.
