Join Charles O’Brien & John Crook, authors of Hampshire Pevsner Guides, for an engaging talk about the county’s architectural history whilst sharing anecdotes from their own journeys along the way. PRE-BOOKING ESSENTIAL
The ‘Pevsner’ series, founded by Sir Nikolaus Pevsner in 1951, is the unrivalled source for authoritative and comprehensive information on the architecture of the British Isles. Come and hear revisionists Charles O’Brien and John Crook as they take you on a journey through Hampshire’s architectural history. Learn about the country houses, churches, public houses and other historically significant buildings in the county, following in the steps of Pevsner himself, and our two authors who will be able to share anecdotes from their own journeys in the county whilst trying to revise the original editions. Charles O’Brien is the joint editor of Pevsner, and John Crook is an architectural historian, both of whom have an unrivalled knowledge of their areas of the county.
