St. Michael & All Angels Church and Churchyard, Bullington Lane, Bullington, Winchester, Hampshire, SO21 3RE
Inside the beautiful ancient Church of St.Michael's local crafters will be demonstrating their skills and talents, and there will also be opportunities for you to have a go yourself. Outside you will find all the fun of a village fete.
Now in its sixth year, the Bullington Craft Fete gives an opportunity for local crafters to demonstrate their crafts, encourage one another, and inspire others to have a go! The beautiful ancient Church of St. Michael & All Angels, dating back to the 11th century, located within a stone’s throw of the banks of the River Dever, provides the exquisite setting for this hive of activity. Outside, in the churchyard, is all the fun of the English village fete, lots of stalls to browse, bouncy castle, music by the Barton Stacey Chamber Choir and the must visit tea tent. All funds raised on the day go towards the upkeep of this ecclesiastical gem, with a special focus this year being remedial works to the Victorian tile and flint footpaths that enhance the entrance to the church. If wet, the event will take place in the equally atmospheric neighbouring farm barn, ensuring a pleasant afternoon, whatever the weather.
