Join Winchester College’s Head of Classics, Dr Sarah Harden, to hear more about the history of the many ancient artefacts in The Treasury and how they reveal connections between different parts of the ancient world.
The Winchester College Treasury is house in the converted medieval Warden’s Stables, and it contains the school’s outstanding collections of art and archaeology.
New for 2018 Winchester College’s Head of Classics, Dr Sarah Harden, is presenting a talk specially for Winchester Heritage Open Days on the history of the many ancient artefacts in the School's possession and how they reveal connections between different parts of the ancient world.
Visitors may wish to also book on a Treasury tour on one of the days leading up to the talk, or the sessions which follow at 2pm and 3pm. For more information on how to book on the tour please see the separate entry.
