Rodney Graham’s hands on account of the history of Winchester taking in a walking tour of the city, which imagines what can’t be seen beneath the pavements and squares as much as what can be seen above.
Rodney is one of Design Engine’s three co-founding directors, active in architectural education and is co-author of a series of books called ‘Look Up’, which give us all a fascinating insight into the architectural and social history of the high streets of England’s towns and cities.

Meet outside the Westgate Museum. This is located at the top of the High Street inside the surviving fortified medieval city gateway. Meet just below the archway.
