An inspiring afternoon of talks and displays, celebrating local projects and the people behind them. Featuring guest speakers from across the sector, discover stories of preservation, innovation, and connection.

Hosted by the Hampshire History Trust, this special event brings together leading voices in architecture, planning, and heritage to share stories of preservation, innovation, and transformation.

Programme Highlights:

3:00 PM – Liz King, Hampshire History Trust, sets the stage for an afternoon of insight and inspiration.

3:15 PM – Laura Jarman (Hampshire County Council) In conversation with Bob Wallbridge (City of Winchester Trust).

4:15 PM – Enjoy a break with refreshments from The Arc Café.

4:30 PM – Rod Graham (Design Engine Architects) The Evolution of the City – A visual and narrative journey through Winchester’s changing urban fabric.

5:30 PM – Another chance to relax and connect over drinks and snacks.

5:45 PM – Peter Marsh (Peter Marsh Consulting) From Business Case to RIBA Award – Discover the transformation of the Royal London Hospital into the award-winning Tower Hamlets Town Hall.

6:45 PM – Final break before our closing keynote.

7:00 PM – George Saumarez Smith (Adam Architecture) Reflections on the Architecture in Winchester – A personal and professional perspective on the city’s architectural legacy.

8:00 PM – Liz King returns to wrap up
