The Mills of Havant and Langstone

A guided circular walk, exploring the four Mills, the foreshore and Langstone Harbour.

This two hour guided walk will depart from the Spring Arts and Heritage Centre and will explore how Havant harnessed the power of water to provide food. We will visit four mill sites in Havant and Langstone and examine how mills worked, how they developed and what happened to them.

Location & directions 

Directions: 700 bus to the old post office. Cross the busy main road carefully. Meet your guide, Nigel in the Foyer of The Spring Arts and Heritage Centre from 1000. The group will depart sharply at 10:30. Please ring 023 9247 2700 if you are delayed

Accessibility Details

Stout shoes or boots are recommended. The walk will include irregular and possibly muddy areas underfoot.

Additional information

The walk will be almost entirely off road on good footpaths.
