Enjoy guided walks at a beautiful Victorian church while learning interesting insights into St. Denys Parish Church. Our guided walks will uncover the hidden history of our lovely Grade II Listed Victorian church, designed by George Gilbert Scott.
Our guided walks were designed by local historian Frank Green who has researched the history of St. Denys Church and its artefacts. This Grade II listed building and medieval priory were designed and built by George Gilbert-Scott.
During our talk, guests will be able to view artefacts from the medieval priory, including; medieval encaustic floor tiles and remnants from 12th century local Priory. Guests will be able to learn about a Grand Organ, which has parts from the 17th century and is registered as an Instrument of Historic Significance.
St Denys church also has a 100-year old Broadwood grand piano available for guests to play.
