Hampshire Regency Dancers will be in the Great Hall, Winchester on 13th September 2025, demonstrating dances from the Regency era. The opportunity for audience participation will be part of each dance session.
Come and try dancing as they did in the time of Jane Austen and Bridgerton! Hampshire Regency Dancers (HRD) will demonstrate Regency era dances (late 18th and early 19th centuries). The dancing will be split between a morning and afternoon session at 1100 and 1400 respectively. Each session will be followed by an invitation to audience members to join us in learning to dance a number of Regency dances. Dances for audience participation will be 'called' and HRD members will be on hand to partner and support audience members.
