We welcome craftspeople to the Bishop’s Waltham Palace and Museum for the day!
A number of craftspeople will be visiting the museum for the day to show their skills and their objects. Come and meet them in the beautiful setting of Bishop’s Waltham Palace, a brilliant place for a picnic and a wander around. The museum will be open all day with information on the Palace and the medieval town of Bishop’s Waltham, including the Railway200 exhibition on the branch line.

Accessibility Details
Some areas of Bishop’s Waltham Palace, including the platform inside the West Tower, and the upper floor of the Bishop’s Waltham Museum are not accessible to wheelchairs. Other areas of the Palace have uneven grounds. We will have temporary toilets for this event, but they may not be disabled-friendly. Our car park is small, but there is plenty more parking on the surrounding roads and very close by in the centre of the town. Dogs on leads with well behaved owners are welcome in the Palace grounds and in the museum.
