This talk will revolve around the development of The Elms, one of the most historically interesting and important houses in the village of Old Bedhampton.
Nigel Gossop will talk about the Elms and its land which covered a large sway of the village and remains today, an important survivor of a bygone era, along with a number of other significant houses in the area that were once the beating heart of this very special village.
Also on display will be a selection of original paintings by local artists from the Bedhampton Historical Collection and a rolling digital presentation compiled by the volunteers who look after the Bedhampton Historical Collection of a selection of the historic buildings in Old Bedhampton which may be viewed before and after the talk.
