Victoria Park Heritage Walk

  • Victoria Park Anglesea Road Portsmouth, England, PO1 3HJ United Kingdom (map)

Join us for a stroll through Victoria Park to learn about its rich heritage and history!

As part of Heritage Open Days Solent Original Walks are pleased to work alongside Portsmouth City Council to provide a historic Victoria Park Walk around this iconic park, originally opened in 1878 in central Portsmouth. Following the multi-million pound refurbishment programme, the park has been revitalised to build upon its vibrant and rich history, making it a more inclusive space for growth and community wellbeing, preserved as a park for generations to come.

Explore the rich history of Victoria Park with our guided heritage walk. Discover hidden gems and fascinating stories as we stroll through the charming streets of this historic neighbourhood. The walk will begin at The Green House Community Hub, where we will gather before setting off on our adventure. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with the past and learn more about the heritage of Victoria Park.
