Join us for a tour of Winchester Cathedral to explore the history of the British Empire through the art and language of memorials from this period.
This tour of Winchester Cathedral will explore how the British Empire was presented in the art and language of memorials during the 19th century. Visitors will be introduced to a range of notable types of memorial from the period and reflect on what we can understand about the British Empire from what we can see in the Cathedral.
