Please check signage as there are some exceptions and charges will still apply.

Park & Ride

If you’re driving, the easiest and cheapest way to visit Winchester is to use one of the Park and Ride sites.

There are five to choose from and buses run frequently into the centre of the city.

Alternatively, if you park at Barfield (East Winchester) Park and Ride, you can take the picturesque 11 minute walk alongside the River Itchen to the city centre.

Using one of the Park and Ride services also helps improve air quality in the city.

The Winchester Park and Ride buses are wheelchair accessible. More information including timetables can be found on the city council’s website www.winchester.gov.uk/parking/parkandride.
